Dear blessed Friends, whom Providence and the workings of the Collective Consciousness brings to this essay. I am writing this from Jerusalem, Israel or the “start-up nation” whose entrepenurial people were running one third of China’s trade with the world until a little while ago, and where the value of stock in our national airline “El Al” right now is down to less than one Shekel (or about 30 cents, maybe an excellent time to invest 200 to 300 Shekels to obtain a couple of hundred shares now) per share, the airline has shut down for now, 5500 employees are dismissed, and the only flights still done, are coordinated with our Foreign Ministry scrambling to get stranded Israeli young people back home to their families, from India, Peru, Costa Rica etc. We are 10 days away from the Passover Festival; and we are under orders to stay home and not move more than 100 meters from our homes, except for essential work, grocery shopping or pharmacy visits.

Usually this is a time of much shopping for food and clothing, home furniture purchases, massive cleaning operations, and at the end of it all: the Passover Seder or extended family get-together time at the beautifully arrayed festive dining table: all this to commemorate and celebrate the fact, that our ancestors and therefore also…
